Biscuitmen’s stay at the top of the league was as short lived as Your Ad Here’s the week before, and ended in as dramatic a drop – six places back down to seventh, with the lowest score of the week. Golden Boys have edged ahead of Pretty Schitty City at the top. They’re followed by FC Caligula and 4 Lime Jellies in third and fourth. Since the season started none of these teams have dropped lower than eight place. It’s Caligua that stand the best chance of the October prize…

Biscuitmen’s low total has brought a host of other teams back into contention. Their 20 point lead has been cut to just two.

It was a week in which most Buckets teams scored in and around the average. Only six players made it into double figures, and three of those were Sunderland players, so there was little chance of anyone posting a mega high score. SS3 FC win their first manager of the week award with a 57 point total with the biggest contributions coming from two defenders – Laurent Koscielny and Kurt Zouma.

Player of the week – Harry Kane – 17 points. Needs more performances like this to prove last season was no fluke.

Bargain of the week – Billy Jones – 15 points. Trebled his total in one week.

Donkey of the week – Fabricio Coloccini – -3 points. It was only a matter of time

Goal of the week – Jamie Vardy. The must have player. For the achievement and the dink over the keeper.
