Uriah’s lead the way this week with 67 points – 14 points more than their nearest challenger. The March manager of the month looks likely to be contested between themselves and Shoelace who followed last weeks uber score with another steady total. If either win they’ll become the first teams to win two monthly manager prizes this season. Shoelace hold a bit of a lead but there’s a strong chasing pack and in truth any of the top 10-15 teams could have a sniff.

Uriah’s main man this week was probably George Boyd. Everyone’s favourite bench warmer stepped into Uriah’s squad to replace the non-starting Samir Nasri to add 11 points. It seems Boyd can always be relied upon as sub number one. He always starts and has contributed 90 points overall, which is the highest of any outfield player valued at under £5 million. The problem is knowing when to promote him. No-one would have expected his first double figure total of the season to come against City, so extra smug points to Uriah’s who were lucky enough to have two non starters, thus giving Boyd his starting berth. I imagine he was still sat on the bench for everyone else.

There were a few surprises in the first round of the Buckets Cup. The quarter final draw has been made. Biggest shock of the round came at the home of Sportingabiggerwig as they sent Pescara packing. Shoelace won the tie of the round in the tightest game against RayCrawfordsCrackers. No Recognised Plan knocked out the holders and will now face the league leaders, Neil Madrid. Arguably the tie of the quarter final sees the only former champs left in the competition, *Your Ad Here*, take on fellow top four botherers Hedgehog Corpse.

Player of the week – Michael Carrick – 14 points. Another corner turned

Bargain of the week – Gabriel Agbonlahor – 12 points. Villa strikers to fill their bots to the end of the season?

Donkey of the week – Fabricio Coloccini – -3 points. Leaving Newcastle with one fit defender.

Goal of the week – Matthew Phillips. Goal of the season…?
