Who’d have thought Harry Kane would become the must have attacking player in this year’s FPL? Another double figure score. Accumulated from scoring twice to win the North London derby and take Spurs above Arsenal in the league, and well into the fight for Champions League football next season. It’s his 10th league goal in 9 games. It’s his 12th league goal of the season. He’s catching up with the suspended Costa and the out of form Aguero. Young player of the year is probably in the bag, and if he carries on at this rate, he could stake a claim for the player of the year awards as well.

Harry Kane’s 12 points wasn’t quite enough to bag him another player of the week award, although it did have an effect on some of the Buckets League’s big movers. There were two 70+ scorers this week. Accrington Rudyard installed Kane as captain and collected 71 points – the second highest team score. Kane was also one of eight players to contribute meaningfully to RayCrawfordsCrackers 77 point total and help them to their sixth manager of the week award. NaboombuDirtyYellows opted to transfer Kane out of their side two weeks ago. In that time he’s scored 25 points, NBYs have slipped from the summit of the Buckets League and their place has been taken by Neil Madrid – who have Kane in their attacking three.

Player of the week – Chris Brunt – 13 points. Inspired their come back at Burnley.

Bargain of the week – Maya Yoshida – 12 points. A second bargain award in recent weeks.

Donkey of the week – Luke Shaw – -1 points. £30,000,000 pounds worth of nothing.

Goal of the week – Danny Ings. Flowing move. bullet header. No video.
