A great start to the month for many teams with some mega scores posted on the board. Most passed the 60 point mark, thanks to some high scoring performances from the elite players in the game. Pescara picked up their second weekly prize with 87 points – a total which moved them from 13th to 7th in the table. Upper Bullens, Pretty Schitty City and Sporting are the losers of the week, all dropping places with a poor points return. Given that both City and Chelsea had convincing victories, there were definitely points to be had. The key to a 60+ score this week was an overload of players from the two title contenders, and in particular, Sergio Aguero being given the captain’s armband. Aguero won player of the week for the first time with 16 points, and becomes the first to pass the 100 point barrier.

Player of the week – Sergio Aguero – 16 points. Scoring a goal a game at the moment.

Bargain of the week – Didier Drogba – 11 points. Doing Costa’s job.

Donkey of the week – Wes Morgan – -2 points. Having Leicester defenders is frustrating enough without them getting themselves sent off.

Goal of the week – Sergio Aguero. His first goal of the week winner as well.
