Arsenal were meant to score. United were supposed to win. City weren’t meant to concede. Fulham and Swansea weren’t meant to score 5. Sergio Aguero was meant to last more than 14 minutes. None of that happened. Even the normal guarantee of bumper points from overloading the team with players from teams playing twice didn’t quite pay off. Well -for me it didn’t. It was all about picking the right Chelsea players this week. Ivanovic, Hazard, Lampard, Cahill and Cole all scored in double figures.
Congratulations to Rip Roaring Reds who posted the first monster score of the season with 102 points. It puts them in pole position for the first manager of the month award. Uriah Rennie and Body Issues look to tbe the only teams that can stop them winning the August prize.

  • Player of the week. Branislav Ivanovic – 24 points. Why wasn’t he banned?
  • Bargain of the week. Nathan Dyer – 16 points. Destroyed QPR.
  • Donkey of the week. Daniel Agger – -3 points. City want to spend 27 million pounds on this dufus.
