Some major players were rested this week, and of those that played, very few of them turned up, as the top four in the Premiership all dropped points to bottom half teams. The average score this week was a very low 30 points. Shoelace Untied win the gameweek with 56 points, despite only having three players that scored anything other than their appearance points. This was three players more than most of the rest of the league, however.

Romeo’s-Honda-van win the December Manager of the Month award. They managed 41 points in the final gameweek to pip Crazylegs to the prize.

Remember, you have your January wildcard available to you now. Use it wisely. Just don’t bring in any Africans.

  • Player of the week – Stephen Ireland. Remember him?
  • Bargain of the week – Tony Hibbert. Tony Hibbert? Yes….Tony Hibbert.
  • Donkey of the week – Gary Caldwell. His monthly dismissal.
