TheBellsAreRinging pick up their second Manager of the Week prize, scoring a whopping 77 points. This sees them climb the table into the top 10. Somewhat luckily, in as much as he relied heavily on the substitution of Andy Johnson, who was one of this weeks top scorers. He came in for the rested Ashley Young. I was still out of the country. Any team with Fulham players would have scored more than average this week. Having looked a bit toothless up front, they went and hit six against a hapless QPR. Johnson, along with Danny Murphy, Bobby Zamora and Clint Dempsey, all achieved double figures for the week. I’m not sure many teams had any of those players, as quite frankly, they’ve been utter shit up till now.

I was still on holiday. Obviously, if I’d have been in the country blah blah blah….

  • Player of the week – Frank Lampard. Still got it, just not every week.
  • Bargain of the week – Andy Johnson. He had hair last time he scored a hat trick.
  • Donkey of the week – Fitz Hall. Could have been any of the QPR back line, but One Size got himself booked aswell.

Goal o’t weekend
